Jacob's Room (1922)It is pre-war England as we follow Jacob from childhood through to college at Cambridge. The story unfolds mainly through the eyes of the women in Jacob's life, including Clara Durrant and art student Florinda, with whom he has an affair. Toward the end of the novel, Jacob has matured, time has moved on, and Jacob travels to Italy and Greece.
