Alexandra Solaris is summoned to her mother's hideaway. Thirty years ago her parents were instrumental in scattering of the Montglane Chess set, burying the the secrets of their power with them. She arrives finding her mother missing, leaving behnd her only a series of strategically placed clues as to her whereabouts. The Game has begun again.
