Local television personality Gaby Mortimer is stunned when she stumbles across the body of a young woman during her daily run. She’s saddened by the tragic event, but her sorrow quickly turns to shock when the police begin focusing in on Gaby as a suspect. Though Gaby has never met the dead woman, there appear to be connections between the two of them that she can’t explain to herself, much less to the authorities.
