Keeps feeding your curiosity

Anna Albright has reached the end of her possibilities when she applies for a job as a companion for Kara Harrington. She's the wife of celebrity podcaster Colin Harrington and after a horrible accident she's unresponsive. Within this job Anna gets a place to live, a paycheck and a way to salvage her comatose career. But she can't shake the feeling that she's being watched and that something is wrong about this house and its inhabitants. Can Anna survive the few months as a companion? Is she able to put new life in her career as a voice actress?
The plot is very well built and because of several twists it's unpredictable how it all will end.
From the beginning there is a kind of tension that increases as the book progresses. The author has made good use of this tension so that you as a reader want to continue reading.
It comes as a surprise that you switch to Kara and her story two thirds of the way through. It is precisely by introducing Kara's story that a lot becomes clear and your curiosity is increased as to how this will all end.
The companion is a very well written book with a lot of suspense that keeps feeding your curiosity until the great ending.
