Lezersrecensie
Prachtig boek!
What an amazing writer TJR is. Whatever she writes, it feels so natural and almost dreamy. I always feel like I literly dive into the story with the characters. I feel what they feel, feel like I really know all these people. After I Do wasnany different in that way.
Lauren is a sincere character, she's real and I immediately liked her. Her feelings, thoughts and actions, when she and her husband decide to live a year apart, are so... human. Luckily I haven't been through what she has been through, but it's so easy to understand her and feel for her. Like she's your best friend.
Her family and friends also did come so natural. They are very likable and give some air and lightness to the - actually quite sad - story. I did really like the ending, it was quite unexpecter for me (since I already formed an image in my head on how it would end, quite of the beginning of the book). That gave this story a nice twist as well.
As every TJR book, yes, I also recommend this one. It's a story of grieve and hope and listening to your heart and a lot of other sentimental things, but it's worth it again. Promise!
