Sci-fi meets murder mystery with some romance
I loved the sci-fi meets murder mystery with a side of romance story. I loved the world building and the use of AI, but in a much more developed way than our current AI. The moral dilemma on if killing AI is murder or not, having sex with them or not, etc is well explained.
The plot is well written. There were some good twists and turns throughout the story, which some I saw coming and others didn’t see coming. I did not see it coming who had done it. The book was gripping from start to finish and I didn’t want to put the book down.
Gibbs and Hux are characters I liked from the beginning. Nate was more of that I first liked him, then I didn't, then I liked him again. The story was fast-paced, but enough time was taken for getting to know the main characters and the world building.
