Ginger in Pistachio Craze for the Holidays by Kimberley Krey loves to cook. When she gets a chance to star in a cooking show, something she really wants, she gets to meet her ex, cooking star Jude, again.

This book was such a joy to read. From the very first page I was pulled into the story. Ginger is a great character, I loved her. She is good at cooking, but also cannot work under stress. The things that went wrong were just hilarious, but I also felt for her. There is also some mystery why she and Jude broke up and that also made that I could not stop reading. Australian Jude is just fantastic, he is there for her when she needs him. The scene when she has to audition and things get out of hand is one of my favourite moments in this short read.

Pistachio Craze is a great sweet novella, a book I enjoyed reading a lot. It is filled with humour and great characters, it has a flowing writing style, some mystery and romance. If you want to read a lovely novella during these holiday times, and if you love those baking shows, this is the book to read.
