Witch on the run

The Gifted Geart by Tiffany Davis is the story of the young witch Kenna, who is on the run. The evil King is hunting all magic users, but all is not as it seems.

This story takes some getting used to, but when you start reading, there is so much mystery from the very first. You feel for Kenna, who is a great character. Like her, you want to know what is going on.

The writing style is flowing, but you have to read everything carefully, because so much is going on. There are lots of twists and turns in the story, that I had a hard time putting the book down. Sometimes you just have to sit back and think about this story.

The world-building, although complex, is fantastic, and rather unique.

The Gifted Heart is a beautifully crafted story, filled with unexpected turns, a flowing writing style, with a complex world-building, and with a likable FMC, a story which has surprised me in a good way and a story I enjoyed reading a lot.
