loved it

Thanks to love notes I had the opportunity to read a new arc; this time a retelling from Cinderella with a modern twist. We follow Adelaide and Kingston in this book, Adelaide lives in a hotel with her father and her stepmother and her daughters after her mother passed away. Kingston lives in a castle but is no prince. Adelaide and Kingston were childhood friends but later on he falls in love with her stepsister and leaves Adelaide behind. It took me a little while to get in the story but as soon as I read further I loved it. The author did know how to spice things up but she also showed the vulnerable side of the characters. It’s the first book in the series so I’m quite curious for the other parts.
