Thanks to Hamley I had the opportunity to read this as an arc and i loved it so much. It was such an intriguing story set in Venice, Italy where Lorenzo gets the chance to work for Marco Contarini as a painter in his Palazzo. I honestly LOVED the chemistry between Lorenzo & Artemisia even though they pretend not liking each other. It’s the first the book from Emmelie I read and I couldn’t put this one down and needed to know how it was going to end. I also have another book from her, can’t wait to read that one as well. <333
