Absolutely worth the hype

I absolutely devoured this book. I was so scared to start reading it, afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype, but it absolutely did! I related to Violet right from the start and felt like I was walking on the parapet and going through all things at Basgiath through her eyes.

The worldbuilding is amazing and the ratio of worldbuilding to story is just perfect. The story is fast paced and just grips you in such a way you don’t want to put the book down.

Violet starts off as an introverted, somewhat insecure bookworm but evolves into this powerful super smart and cunning women.

The relationship building between her and Xaden is done impeccable, with just the right amount of time to build up to the delicious smut.
