Loved this darker romance!

It took me a while to get into the story (a few chapters), but I was immediately hooked on Cade! How can you not love this man?

There are quite a few plot twists & revelations in the book which made it hard to put down! I’m gawking at my screen during every single chapter by the end.

Also, Marzy Opal is one great context writer if I may say so. The reason behind certain characters’ behavior always has an intruiging background story to it (& she certainly knows how & when to bring it!).

Last but not least: I feel like this story has a more advanced vocabulary than other books I have read so far. My mother tongue is Dutch & even though I read a lot of English books in my spare time, I still had to look up a few words from time to time. I love it when I am able to enjoy the story & learn some new words as an added advantage!
