One long read…
This was one loooooooooong book.
First of all, let me say that the design & graphics on this one were AMAZING (hence the reason why I picked it up in the first place). Cute, colourful & entertaining.
However, the structure & length of the book had me sweating at times. It feels like a lot has been written, but it’s, in my opinion, a very repetitive text. It would have been easier to break up the text into different parts & make it more enjoyable to read, certainly since this is supposed to be a guidebook for young women.
I also think this was meant for a younger audience than myself. I’m in my early thirties, meaning that, most things covered in this book, I already read somewhere else.. it would’ve been an enormous help to have read this in my early twenties though, a lot of tips & tricks would’ve come in very useful to me at the time.
