I loved book one Born of Starlight, so I knew I was in for a treat! And I can tell you City of Snakes by @marietkay.writes definitely didn’t disappoint!
In this book we follow Sybilla Queen of the Central Corridor and Kraith King of Sahlmsara. At the end of book 1, even though Kraith came to the rescue, Sybilla’s city is left in ruins. To show her support of magic wielders and his country she makes an oath that she goes back to his city to convince the other corridors.
In the mean time Kraith suspects she is a part of a century old prophecy to finally defeat the Death Origin one and for all. One problem they need an heir!
The grumpy shadow king doesn’t know yet how he will tell Sybilla about the prophecy when she proposes a deal. He agrees, but the longer he waits to tell the truth, the harder it will be to convince Sybilla of his sincerity.
