Another food truck story by Saskia M.N. Oudshoorn and this time it's a Satay food truck. And Satay is my favorite food so this made me wanna eat it the whole time I was reading haha
The book starts with a reminder: "You are good enough just the way you are." and this is like a red thread throughout the whole book for the 2 people we follow.
We follow Ramona who is a university student and works together with her brother Sam at food festivals with their food truck Satay Sam. She is secretly in love with Timo one of the guys at the university. But because he is from a very rich family she keeps telling herself she can't make a shot.
We also follow Justus, who is the lead singer of the band Just Did It. When his band plays at a party where Ramona and her brother Sam are with their food truck they get along immediately. Because the band is growing in popularity, their manager wants them to be aware of their brand.
Together with Sanne who is Ramona's best friend they come up with a plan and Ramona and Justus start 'fake dating'. Justus for his image and Ramona to make Timo jealous. Will their final plan work? Will Ramona not scare off Timo? And will Justus be able to show his true self?
