Romantasy Prequel to an epic series

WOW what an amazing prequel/novella. Unwritten by the gods will be published in the Bewitched Blooms Anthology. This is a Fundraiser Anthology for Zoë. There will be 30+ romantasy and paranormal stories and novellas featured from some of your favorite authors! After reading this prequel I can't wait to see where the rest of this story will be going when the first book will be released on August 25.
In the prequel we follow Maera and Aelric, who grew up together, and fell in love. However him being the son of an overlord and her being a serf, this was obviously unspoken for. Aelric had to fulfill his destiny to become an elite warrior and they haven't seen each other for 10 years.
Aelric also thought Maera died in a fire just as many years ago, so when he sees her at a party he can't believe his eyes. Maera is at the party with ulterior motives and needs to complete her mission. Will Maera and Aelric their love rekindle even if it's still forbidden? Will Aelric find out about the secrets Maera has been hiding?
