Goed vervolg

After his little brother Rowan has done his task, it’s Declan’s turn to ensure that he and his brothers will get the shares of the Dreamland company. According to his letter Declan has to marry a woman and get a child with her, in order to get his shares. Easy task right? Not if you’re Declan, who is seen as heartless by everyone. Iris, his assistant, has managed to find a woman willing to marry Declan and help him to get his shares. But on the day of the engagement announcement the woman backs out. In order to protect Declan’s secret, Iris steps in and takes on the roll as his fiancée. Later on she realises it might not have been a good idea, considering she’s not ready for marriage at all. But it’s only a fake marriage with no real feelings, right?

Terms and Conditions is the second book in the Dreamland Billionaires series. The first book was about Rowan, where Declan already made a short appearance. In this book we get to Declan better and discover why he’s so heartless. Iris is the only person he’s somewhat nice towards. Iris knows how lonely and difficult Declan can be and is proud that she’s been his assistant for a long time. That’s why she decides to step in and get married to her boss so he can become CEO. She has attachment issues and together with the power dynamics, it makes their fake marriage an interesting mix. There’s a 12 year age gap, but most of the time you don’t even notice it while reading. The book started a tad slow at first, when both sides were distant towards each other. But the story picked up once Iris and Declan started to grow closer. Terms and Conditions has less smut than The Fine Print and more plot. I loved seeing the growth of Iris and Declan. We also get more brotherly interaction, which I really enjoyed! Cal, the third brother, made lots of appearances and I’m curious to his book.
