Phenomenal!

Belladonna by Adalyn Grace is a gothic romantasy, filled with magic, mystery and romance. It is a book that took me completely by suprised, and that happens only from time to time. In Belladonna we follow Signa Farrow, who can communicate with spririts and has a complicated, romantic relationship with Death. During the book we end up in a murder mystery story and man, Adelyn Grace delivered one!
The atmosphere in the book breathes gothic vibes. It was my first time reading a gothic romantasy, and I absolutely loved it! Belladonna is absolutely phenomenal. The story, from beginning to end, was amazing. The mystery aspect kept me interested until the very end and I had NO idea how it was going to end! All the characters were good and interesting. I even loved all the side characters, but mostly Blythe. I can’t wait to read more about her! But the slow burn between Death and Signa? It was amazing and they have great chemistry!
Grace has an amazing write style which I can’t get enough of. She did a great job with building the tension, chemistry and mystery. I didn’t want to put the book down and finished it in one sitting (on a plane, gasping and crying because it was so good). I’m not lying that this book really got into my feels.
Belladonna is a book I would recommend to anyone. The magic, mystery, romance and gothic vibes are the perfect ingredients for a book filled with perfection. I am very excited to read Foxglove and can’t wait until Wisteria releases in August!
